Long time no blog!

Hey guys! So funny story, I was getting on other people's blogs to see what is happening in the lives of others because I have none, and then Jacob and I decided to try to figure out ours or make up a new one, because we made one up months ago but forgot about it, and so I signed in and found out I had this blog too! I totally spaced that one... So now Jacob and I have to figure out how to make one for us too, because I have no idea what I'm doing, so Caitlyn I expect your help over Christmas break! Because I decided blogs make more sense than facebook because you can actually tell people about your life, and I am pretty positive everyone wants to know about everything that I do! So yes. But I am so excited for Christmas! We leave in about three days! I am SUPER excited to see all of you! Don't miss me too much and don't have too much Christmas fun until we get there! (I don't really know how you could anyway...)

Lame

Wow this blog is lame, how come no one posts on here are you all doing nothing exciting? Me neither! Actually I would post more but I want to post with some pics and my camera battery is dead and I can't find my charger! Lame me!!

The Misadventures of Me!

That sounds like a more exciting title than the bread machine got the best of me today! I must give up the title of Suzy Homemaker after losing to the bread machine. Actually I was going to make some wheat bread but found I had no wheat flour. So I did what any good Mormon woman would do. I got out my wheat and tried to grind my own flour! Doesn't everyone? Well that didn't work so I cleaned up my big mess and went to the store!
So, I got home and started again. I took the bread pan out of the machine and tookit over to the sink where I added the water. Then I took it back over to the machine where I set it next to but not in the machine. Then I added two cups of flour to the machine!! It was supposed to go into the bread pan on top of the water! Oops! Now I had to clean out the machine which is a do not immerse appliance! Go me! Anyway, I finally got everything in the bread pan in the right order and I now have a loaf of fresh wheat bread baking in my kitchen. Oh, but wait, there is one more thing, wheat bread takes 4 1/2 hours to make not the 3 1/2 that the white bread takes, the bread won't finish baking until I am at work! Who will get it out of the pan...ITS DAD!

You should all be very scared! I spent yesterday in my kitchen. I figured out how to use my bread machine! Guess what, you are all now getting a loaf of bread for Christmas along with your tomatos! Did you know it only takes about five minutes to put everything in the machine and then you just plug it in and turn it on? Of course this defeats the purpose of making bread if you want to beat something up! I also made two apple pies, I was only going to make one but I had wayyyy more apples than I thought!
Also one other thing, when you are feeling down as I have been lately, you should open your scriptures and read! Can you believe I forgot how important that was? It won't take away your problems but it reminds you there is some one out there with a bigger view of your life. A plan for you even! It is amazing what you can discover by preparing a primary lesson. I know my sunbeams aren't going to get nearly what I did out of my lesson today.

Where did all those come from!

Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to let you all know that you will be getting a jar of tomatos for Christmas this year! Yup, thats right! Yesterday I spent 6 hours with Lisa Baldwin and canned tomatos from our garden! I bought 12 quart jars and Lisa brought over 6 and guess how many we filled...17. It didn't look like that many but we just kept filling jars! At the end she looked at me and said "you weren't kidding about having a lot of tomatos!" I am going to put a ribbon around one and keep it on my counter 'cause they are so pretty! I may try some jelly next!

Christmas II

Okay Caitlyn let me see if I can answer your question. We have actually been leaving for Illinois on Christmas Eve the last couple of years. That is when we see my family. And the elves have not even given any thought to this Christmas yet! I guess they should.
Kristin and Jacob, do you know yet how long you will get to be here for Christmas? Since it is on a Thursday I was thinking we could have your party on that Friday or Saturday, whichever is better for your Aunt Denise cause we are using her house. And you two to of course!
See you in about 9 days!!!!!!!!!(i am not really that excited can you tell?)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christmas!

With Kris and Jacob's wedding almost here, I just wanted everyone to think about what will be next... That's right! CHRISTMAS! I'm so excited for this year because we'll have three new family members!! It's also going to be nice to go somewhere for a family gathering that's not overcrowded. I'm used to Will's parents, which is great, but small.
BYU gets out the 11th, and my last day for exams is the 19th. There doesn't seem to be a graduation scheduled for December, so I don't know what's going on with that. If no one is planning on coming to watch me walk anyways, I don't know if I'd go, mostly because I'd rather be spending the time moving (if we are) or at home! I think I'll only have one scheduled exam, and that's with a professor that loves me, so I may be able to finish them all on the first day (Dec 15th) and just be done. If we're moving at that time, we'll probably pack up as fast as we can and get there a few days before Christmas Eve.
So mom, what's the plan as far as Chicago goes? Are we leaving Christmas day as usual? When are we coming back? Are the elves going to visit Will and Jacob? (I'm figuring they're going to leave Chaela some things for sure.)
I know I'm excitable, guys, but this is the first Christmas I'll have had at home since 2005!! Woo hoo!!

16 DAYS!!!

That's right family! 16 days and Jacob and I will be wedded! Haha, Caitlyn that's probably not a word but I used it anyway. I am great. But on a more serious note--- Really family, this is exciting news! Do you all realize, mom, dad, Linds, and Jordan, that you guys get to come out to Utah in less than two weeks! I am so excited to see all of you! I miss you all terribly! And we will have such a good time! And seriously, you guys have been so great in helping us! I really appreciate everything you are doing to make this work! You are all great and I love you all and I can't wait to see you guys!!! Love you all!!!

So I finally had time to check this out, and no one is putting anything on here! I can understand why the guys aren't doing anything, too much unmanly pink lettering, that needs to change......I'll have to get some directions form Lindsay on how to add photos and stuff, no idea how any of that works. Well, if this works maybe I'll try it again!!

Hey Family!

I just thought it would be fun now that we're growing pretty large, to have our own family blog where we can all post! I expect EVERYONE to particpate, not just me, mom and Lindsay. And mom, dad, and Jordan, since Lindsay will be home with her computer for the next little while you have no excuse!
