Flowers

I love the new picture Caitlyn posted on our header! I know I complain a lot about all the thousands and thousands of bulbs your dad plants but then spring comes and this is what we get . I will try not to complain so much. There are also a lot of purple flowers too I like them the best!

It has been great the last couple of days, Caitlyn and I have been able to get out and take Chaela outside too! She loves to dig in the dirt, in fact she was trying to dig up the tomatos I have tried to start in the house. I took them out to get some sun and she found them!

Also I got to go for a long walk yesterday. It was so nice to stretch my legs after what seems like and amazingly (and not in a good way) long and cold winter.

Sunday we had a special meeting at church with Elder Russell M. Nelson. Basically it was on how everything I need to know to get back to Heavenly Father I learned in Primary!
He would talk about something like the temple and then he had the primary children in the whole congregation stand and sing a primary song that had to do with what he just talked about!
The songs that the children sang were: I am a child of God, I love to see the temple, I'm trying to be like Jesus, Families can be together forever, and Follow the Prophet!
The other talks were good too, they were on things like peace and prayer and not giving up. It was so cool to be in the same room as an apostle of the Lord! (well sort of, we were sitting up on the stage at the very back but it was still cool!)

So... how about this blog?

I was blog surfing tonight and I found our blog! Yay for family blog! So Caitlyn, I totally realized though that I have no idea how to handle the finer points of blogging. Someday I will call you and we can review that, even though you're probably still up and I could call you. Anyway, I really like this blog background! I miss you guys!

Long time no blog!

Hey guys! So funny story, I was getting on other people's blogs to see what is happening in the lives of others because I have none, and then Jacob and I decided to try to figure out ours or make up a new one, because we made one up months ago but forgot about it, and so I signed in and found out I had this blog too! I totally spaced that one... So now Jacob and I have to figure out how to make one for us too, because I have no idea what I'm doing, so Caitlyn I expect your help over Christmas break! Because I decided blogs make more sense than facebook because you can actually tell people about your life, and I am pretty positive everyone wants to know about everything that I do! So yes. But I am so excited for Christmas! We leave in about three days! I am SUPER excited to see all of you! Don't miss me too much and don't have too much Christmas fun until we get there! (I don't really know how you could anyway...)

The Misadventures of Me!

That sounds like a more exciting title than the bread machine got the best of me today! I must give up the title of Suzy Homemaker after losing to the bread machine. Actually I was going to make some wheat bread but found I had no wheat flour. So I did what any good Mormon woman would do. I got out my wheat and tried to grind my own flour! Doesn't everyone? Well that didn't work so I cleaned up my big mess and went to the store!
So, I got home and started again. I took the bread pan out of the machine and tookit over to the sink where I added the water. Then I took it back over to the machine where I set it next to but not in the machine. Then I added two cups of flour to the machine!! It was supposed to go into the bread pan on top of the water! Oops! Now I had to clean out the machine which is a do not immerse appliance! Go me! Anyway, I finally got everything in the bread pan in the right order and I now have a loaf of fresh wheat bread baking in my kitchen. Oh, but wait, there is one more thing, wheat bread takes 4 1/2 hours to make not the 3 1/2 that the white bread takes, the bread won't finish baking until I am at work! Who will get it out of the pan...ITS DAD!
